www.wealddown-collections.co.uk
Developed for a client for whom various data assessment and system reports had been written this site is part of a suite of information, promotional and educational web sites supporting this internationally known museum. It is a full dynamic web site providing access to object, archive and library collections of this open air museum.

Data is extracted from the MODES system an dropped into Access tables with little if any checking or conversion. It is not therefore quite as clean as I might have wished before publication but there is a current work assignment at the Museum that is cleaning the data. All areas of the page other than the navigation links are drawn from a data table. This gives the web administrator complete flexibility for not only the seen content but also the meta language.

Boring Profile:
Is dynamic the way to go for all web sites? No. Or at least not completely. Some the choice is obvious; for others less so. SSI and FTP still has a place.

Short Profile:
It should be whatever best suits the data and client time.
